Description
This lot consists of a collection of .22 Remington Jet centerfire ammunition and components, featuring 148 live rounds and 45 empty brass casings. The group includes three vintage cardboard boxes: a Peters blue and tan box for 40 grain soft point .22 Remington C-F-Magnum Jet cartridges with index number 2210, a Remington green and tan box for .22 Remington Jet Mag cartridges with index number 0122, and a tan Remington-Peters box originally containing 50 empty primed shells marked 22 CF Mag. The live ammunition is comprised of rimmed, bottlenecked brass casings fitted with lead-tipped soft point bullets. Key markings include headstamps reading R-P 22 REM JET on the majority of the cartridges, while the empty brass contains mixed headstamps including SUPER-X 357 MAG. The ammunition and casings are housed across several plastic and styrofoam trays. The materials show varying degrees of age-related wear, including moderate tarnishing on the brass surfaces and significant shelf wear, staining, and adhesive residue on the vintage packaging.
