Description
This is a Browning A-Bolt Medallion bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The rifle features a blued barrel equipped with the Browning Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System (BOSS) adjustable muzzle brake. The metal surfaces exhibit a high-polish blued finish, with floral scroll engraving present on the receiver, bolt handle, and the hinged floorplate. The firearm is mounted in a select walnut stock with a high-gloss finish, featuring skip-line checkering on the forend and pistol grip, a rosewood forend tip, and a rosewood grip cap accented with a gold-tone Browning buckmark logo. It is topped with a Leupold variable power scope mounted on a one-piece base. Key markings include the model designation MEDALLION on the left side of the receiver and the serial number 94793NV317 on the right. Barrel markings specify BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN JAPAN and PAT. 4723369 A-BOLT CAL. .30-06 SPRG ONLY. The buttstock is fitted with a black rubber recoil pad marked BROWNING. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition. The original high-polish blued finish on the barrel and receiver remains deep and dark, with only minor handling wear and very slight thinning at the muzzle end of the BOSS device. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The bolt-action appears to function correctly with a smooth cycle. The high-gloss wood stock remains attractive but shows a number of light surface scratches and small impact dings, primarily on the sides of the buttstock and forend. The skip-line checkering remains sharp and well-defined. The mounted Leupold optics are clear with a standard duplex reticle.
