Description
This CMMG Inc. Mk4 is a semi-automatic AR-15 style rifle chambered in 5.56mm, featuring a California-compliant magazine lock and various Troy Industries components in Flat Dark Earth (FDE). The firearm is equipped with an approximately 16-inch barrel fitted with a Troy Medieval muzzle brake marked TROY 5.56 MM PNL-40664 and displaying an elephant logo. The matte black lower receiver is marked with the manufacturer’s logo consisting of a rifle silhouette and the letters cmmg, the model designation MK4, and the serial number SWT04174. Additional markings on the left side include CMMG INC FAYETTE, MO USA and selector positions for SAFE and SEMI. The rifle features a Troy circular vented handguard in FDE with an integrated folding front sight and a Troy folding rear battle sight mounted on the upper Picatinny rail, which is numbered T4 through T40. The furniture includes a textured Troy pistol grip and a Troy BattleAx CQB buttstock in FDE, with the recoil pad clearly marked TROY. An aftermarket extended bolt release paddle is present on the right side of the lower receiver. The rifle is accompanied by one tan polymer magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition. The matte black finish on the receivers and barrel shows light handling wear but remains largely intact. The FDE polymer furniture is well-preserved, with the exception of light cosmetic scuffing visible on the sides of the BattleAx buttstock. The bore is bright with distinct rifling. The action appears to function correctly, and the California magazine lock is securely installed. We have not function-tested this firearm.
