Description
This is a single AR-15 pattern semi-automatic upper receiver assembly chambered for the 5.56mm NATO cartridge. The configuration features an M4-profile barrel with a Parkerized finish and a 1:9 rifling twist, estimated at 16 inches in length. The flat-top upper receiver is finished in matte black and includes a forward assist and an ejection port cover. A prominent keyhole forge mark is visible on the receiver body. Verbatim markings on the barrel specify WW 5.56 1/9, identifying it as a Windham Weaponry component. The handguard is a Midwest Industries quad-rail with numbered Picatinny positions, bearing the marking MIDWEST INDUSTRIES Made in U.S.A. on the side. Included with the assembly are a bolt carrier group and a BCM charging handle marked 5.56mm [Star] BCMGUNFIGHTER with an American flag icon. Sighting is facilitated by the receiver top rail and a gas block with an integrated top Picatinny rail. The muzzle is threaded for the attachment of muzzle devices, although none is currently installed.
Condition report:
The exterior matte black and Parkerized finishes show minor surface wear, light scratches, and dust accumulation throughout. The quad-rail handguard exhibits minor finish wear on the edges of the Picatinny rails consistent with accessory mounting. The threaded muzzle appears clean and the threads are well-defined. The action appears to cycle correctly when operated by the charging handle, and the bolt carrier group moves freely within the receiver. The bore is bright with sharp rifling.
