Description
A single Imperial Metal Products Model 9 double-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle, configured as a compact, solid-frame handgun for personal defense or utility use. This firearm features a barrel measuring approximately 2.5 inches in length, equipped with an integral front blade sight and a fixed rear notch sight. The frame and barrel are finished in a black enamel-type coating. The revolver is fitted with brown marbled plastic grips, each featuring a circular medallion containing a stylized IMP logo. Transcribed markings include the model designation MODEL 9 .22 L.R. on the left side of the barrel, while the right side of the frame is stamped with MADE IN USA, IMPERIAL METAL PROD., and KINSTON, N.C. The serial number 7502 is clearly visible on the underside of the grip frame. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in fair to good condition, exhibiting moderate cosmetic wear consistent with its age and use. The black finish shows significant chipping and thinning on the sharp edges of the frame, the trigger guard, and the backstrap. There is light surface oxidation present on the hammer and the trigger. The marbled plastic grips are well-preserved with no visible cracks, though they show minor surface handling marks. The bore was not inspected, and the action has not been function-tested.
