Description
This is a Ruger M77 Mark II bolt-action rifle chambered in the high-velocity .204 Ruger caliber, specifically configured for varmint and target applications with a heavy-profile barrel and a non-reflective matte black finish. The rifle is set into an attractive and durable orange and black laminated wood stock featuring a Monte Carlo style comb and a textured rubber Eliminator branded recoil pad. The action is topped with integral Ruger scope rings mounting a Nikon Monarch UCC variable power scope with a duplex reticle. The heavy barrel terminates in a threaded muzzle currently fitted with a knurled thread protector. Key markings on the receiver include the model designation RUGER M77 ® MARK II and the serial number 790-79417. The barrel is stamped .204 RUGER on the left side and bears the manufacturer’s mark STURM, RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. on the top. The rifle features two sling swivel studs and a hinged floor plate. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition. The matte black finish on the barrel and receiver shows minor surface scuffs and localized finish wear, particularly along the barrel and scope rings. The laminated stock remains in very good condition with only light handling marks and no significant dings or cracks. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested the firearm. The bore was not inspected but the muzzle crown appears intact. The Nikon Monarch UCC optics are clear, although the scope body shows some external finish wear and light scratches. The Eliminator recoil pad is intact and secure.
