Description
This lot consists of 50 rounds of Peters brand 12-gauge shotgun ammunition, contained within two original boxes of 25 rounds each. These heavy target loads feature blue plastic hulls with low-profile brass-colored heads. The load specifications as printed on the packaging indicate a 3 dram equivalent powder charge with 1 1/8 ounces of size 7 1/2 shot. Verbatim markings on the front panels include Peters Target Loads, 25 Plastic Shotgun Shells, and Fine Ammunition Since 1887. One box is specifically designated with New 209 Primer. The side panels provide the technical data: 12 Gauge, 3 Dr. Eq., 1 1/8 Oz. Shot, and 7 1/2 Shot PT12M-7 1/2. The individual shells are marked with the Peters name and shot size.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in clean, live condition. The blue plastic hulls are well-preserved with no visible cracks or significant aging. The brass-colored bases show some light surface tarnish but are free of heavy oxidation or corrosion. The cardboard boxes exhibit typical shelf wear for their age, including minor corner crushing, small edge tears, and one box retains a retail price tag from Big 5 Sporting Goods.
