Description
A collection of eight vintage raised handgun rib kits specifically manufactured for the Ruger Security Six revolver with a 6-inch barrel. The group consists of five kits produced by Marble Arms Corp. of Gladstone, Michigan, under the brand name Marble’s, and three kits by The Poly-Choke Co., Inc. of Hartford, Connecticut. The ribs are constructed of dark finished metal. Packaging includes five orange cardboard boxes for the Marble’s kits and a combination of two black cardboard boxes and one clear-topped plastic case for the Poly-Choke kits. Side labels on the packaging carry the printed identification 96110 Ruger Security Six 6″. Each package features printed diagrams of a revolver along with listed features such as DIY installation, professional results without machining or fitting, and improved shooting performance.
Condition report:
The collection is in new old stock condition and remains within the original retail packaging. The cardboard boxes exhibit various signs of shelf wear consistent with age, including surface staining, foxing, edge wear, and minor structural creasing. The clear plastic lid shows light surface scuffing. The metal ribs appear well-preserved with no visible signs of corrosion through the packaging windows.
