Description
This lot features a single bolt-action rifle built on a modified Soviet Mosin-Nagant Model 91/30 barreled action chambered in 7.62x54mmR. The rifle is housed in a tan polymer Archangel OPFOR precision stock characterized by an adjustable cheek riser, an adjustable length of pull, and a textured pistol grip. The barrel is a full-length service profile that has been modified with a Picatinny rail section bolted to the rear sight base area, currently mounting a variable-power optic with scope caps marked NITROGEN GAS PORT. The metal components retain a worn blued finish exhibiting visible surface oxidation and light pitting across the receiver and barrel. Additional features include a single detachable 10-round black polymer Archangel magazine and a folding bipod attached to the forend. Verbatim markings include the MADE IN USSR stamp and the Izhevsk triangle-with-arrow arsenal proof on the receiver and barrel shank. The bolt handle is stamped with serial number 545592 and the barrel shank shows a partially legible serial number beginning with 170. The stock is embossed with the ARCHANGEL name and shield logo. We have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces show a significantly worn blued finish with widespread surface oxidation and areas of light pitting throughout the receiver and barrel. The bore was not inspected but the exterior suggests moderate use. The bolt action appears to function correctly but has not been live-fire tested. The tan polymer Archangel stock is in good condition with minor scuffs and handling marks consistent with field use. The optic displays clear glass with a standard crosshair reticle.
