Description
This Stevens Model 325-B is a bolt-action utility rifle manufactured by the Savage Arms Corporation and chambered for the .30-30 Winchester cartridge. The firearm features a 21-inch barrel equipped with a tubular muzzle brake and a single detachable stamped-steel box magazine. The construction includes a blued steel receiver and barrel assembly mounted in a one-piece wood stock with a semi-pistol grip and a black checkered composite buttplate. The rifle is fitted with a standard rear leaf sight and a front post sight. Notable markings found on the left side of the barrel and receiver include Stevens Savage Arms Corporation Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A. Model 325-B along with Proof Tested Cal. 30-30. The action appears to function correctly, though the firearm has not been live-fire tested. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the metal components shows moderate thinning and wear, particularly at the muzzle, along the barrel, and on the bolt handle, with scattered light surface oxidation and minor freckling. The wood stock is in fair condition, exhibiting numerous dings, scratches, and significant areas where the factory finish is flaking or worn away. The bore was not inspected. The action cycles and the trigger releases normally. The magazine shows expected surface wear from use.
