Description
This is a Ruger American bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 WMR. The firearm features a 22-inch blued barrel with a threaded muzzle and thread protector. The receiver is fitted with a Picatinny-style optic rail mounting a Nikon ProStaff Rimfire 3-9x40mm scope with a BDC reticle. The rifle is housed in an olive drab green synthetic stock featuring an interchangeable black polymer cheek piece and a soft rubber recoil pad embossed with the Ruger logo. Verbatim markings on the receiver include the serial number 833-10509, the Ruger eagle logo, and RUGER AMERICAN. The barrel is stamped 22 WMR alongside the manufacturer warning and location. The rifle is missing its detachable rotary magazine. A sticker on the scope ocular bell notes that the BDC is optimized for .22 LR ammunition. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The exterior metal surfaces show significant oxidation and areas of surface rust, with pitting visible along the length of the barrel concentrated near the muzzle. The bluing on the receiver remains largely intact with minor thinning. The synthetic stock is in good overall condition, exhibiting only light handling scuffs and surface wear. The optic displays clear glass and functional adjustment turrets. The bore has not been inspected. The action appears to cycle smoothly, however, we have not function-tested this firearm.
