Description
This lot features a collection of 22 individual firearm grip panels designed for a variety of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers. The group contains 14 panels for 1911-style pistols and 8 panels for revolvers. Materials include smooth and checkered wood in various finishes, checkered black polymer, and one cream-colored synthetic panel. Manufacturer markings are present across several pieces. One 1911-style wood panel is engraved with the Springfield Armory logo consisting of crossed cannons and the text SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 1794. Two panels, one wood and one black plastic, feature silver-colored medallions with the Ruger eagle logo. Six wood panels incorporate circular medallions with a rampant horse and the word COLT; five of these are gold-colored and one is silver-colored. The revolver grips include several black polymer panels with the S&W monogram in a shield, as well as Colt-marked panels. One black Colt revolver grip features an embossed eagle emblem at the base. The cream-colored revolver panel also displays the S&W monogram.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall varied condition, with individual panels showing signs of field use including finish wear, surface scratches, and light handling marks. Some wood panels show minor dings and one 1911 wood panel has a small chip at the base. The polymer and synthetic panels retain crisp checkering for the most part, though some show minor storage wear. All panels appear sound and serviceable. No mounting hardware or screws are included.
