Description
This lot comprises twelve units of vintage fishing tackle, consisting of eleven packages of Silver Surf lead weights and one lead head jig. The sinkers are oval-shaped egg weights stored in original clear plastic bags with cardboard header cards. The header cards are printed with the text Silver SURF, Woody Manufacturing, Gardena, CA 90247, and 4 each no. 2 sinkers, and display a billfish silhouette. The lead head jig features a spherical lead weight with an integrated steel eyelet and a long-shanked hook. The lead head has an embossed number 2 on its side.
Condition report:
The lead components exhibit oxidation consistent with age. There is minor surface rust on the steel hook of the jig. The original packaging shows shelf wear, including minor soiling and creases to the cardboard headers.
