Description
This Mitchell High Standard Model 9103 BL is a pump action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge 2-3/4 inch shells, designed with an emphasis on tactical or defensive utility. The firearm features a 20 inch barrel fitted with a full-length extended magazine tube and a simple brass bead front sight. The receiver and barrel display a polished blued finish, while the bolt carrier features a decorative engine-turned or jeweled pattern. The furniture is comprised of a black polymer ribbed forend and a specialized Speedfeed polymer buttstock which incorporates integrated shell storage compartments and is finished with a textured rubber recoil pad. Verbatim markings on the left side of the barrel include MITCHELL MODEL 9103 B L and MFTD. BY A.C.P., PHILIPPINES, while the right side is marked IMPTD. BY A.P.I. SAN MATEO, CA. and 12 GA 2 3/4 CHAMBER PROOF TESTED. The left side of the receiver is engraved with the Mitchell High Standard logo, and the serial number 691877 is clearly stamped on the underside of the receiver forward of the loading port. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in good used condition overall. The blued finish on the steel components shows minor surface wear, some thinning at the high points, and scattered light scratches from field use. The bore is bright and smooth, showing no signs of pitting or significant fouling. The action appears to function correctly and cycles smoothly, although we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The polymer forend and Speedfeed stock are structurally sound, exhibiting typical light scuffs, small dings, and surface marks consistent with handling and storage.
