Description
This Heritage Manufacturing Inc. Rough Rider is a small-bore single-action revolver chambered for .22 caliber cartridges. The firearm is in brand new condition and features a 4.75-inch blued steel barrel alongside a six-shot capacity cylinder. The frame exhibits a mottled color case-hardened style finish. It is fitted with smooth wood grips featuring a laser-engraved portrait of the outlaw Billy the Kid on both panels. The revolver utilizes a fixed blade front sight and a notched frame rear sight. Key markings include the model and caliber designation on the left side of the barrel, reading HERITAGE ROUGH RIDER .22 CAL. and KEEP EMPTY CHAMBER UNDER HAMMER. The left side of the frame is marked HERITAGE MFG. BAINBRIDGE, GA. while the right side bears the instruction READ MANUAL BEFORE USING and the serial number 3PH290003. This lot includes the original Billy the Kid themed WANTED poster style factory box, the instruction manual, a red cable safety lock, and a factory safety hang tag still attached to the trigger guard. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent like-new condition, retaining 100 percent of its original factory blued and mottled finishes. The bore is bright and appears unfired outside of factory testing. The single-action mechanism appears to function correctly and the factory safety hang tag remains attached. The laser-engraved wood grips are pristine with no handling marks. The original themed factory box shows only very minor shelf wear at the edges and all included accessories are present and in new condition.
