Description
This Smith & Wesson SD9 VE is a semi-automatic striker-fired pistol chambered in 9mm, featuring a 4 inch barrel and a distinct two-tone configuration consisting of a stainless steel slide paired with a black polymer frame. The frame is designed with an integrated accessory rail on the dust cover and textured grip panels featuring the manufacturer’s circular logo. The pistol is fitted with fixed three-dot sights. Key markings include the model designation “SMITH & WESSON SD9 VE” and the circular manufacturer logo on the left side of the slide, while the right side is marked “SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A.” The barrel hood is stamped “- 9 MM -“. A molded safety warning on the right side of the frame reads “CAUTION: Capable of firing with magazine removed.” and an adhesive identification tag on the underside of the frame bears the alphanumeric characters “HFM0655” and a 2D matrix code. This lot includes one stainless steel detachable box magazine with witness holes numbered up to 15 and an MTM Case-Gard model #807 black plastic hard-shell handgun case with foam inserts. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in used condition, showing light surface oxidation on the rear portion of the slide and on the front sight. The black polymer frame remains in good condition with minor handling marks consistent with use. The barrel hood shows typical mechanical wear from the cycling of the action. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included magazine and hard case are in functional condition with standard signs of wear.
