Description
This is a single DPMS .223 caliber bull barrel with a 1/9 twist, designed for AR-15 pattern rifle platforms. The barrel is constructed from stainless steel with a heavy bull profile and features a non-threaded target crown at the muzzle. Technical specifications include an installed barrel extension with M4-style feed ramps, a pre-drilled gas port, and two machined dimples on the underside for the alignment of gas block set screws. Verbatim markings transcribed from the barrel exterior specify DPMS .223 1-9. A white inventory label with the handwritten number 20883 is adhered near the breech end of the component. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel exterior displays a bright, machined finish with minor handling marks and light surface scuffing. The bore is in excellent condition, remaining bright with sharp and well-defined rifling. There is visible carbon residue within the barrel extension and around the gas port from previous use.
