Description
This lot consists of nine double-stack semi-automatic pistol magazines primarily compatible with the Beretta 92-series and M9 9mm handguns. The collection features several variations in finish and capacity including four magazines with a matte gray Parkerized finish and five finished in black, ranging from matte to glossy blued. Two of the gray magazines are US military contract type featuring steel floorplates and are incised with ASSY 9346413 and RESTRICTED-LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERNMENT USE ONLY with rear witness holes at the 5, 10, and 15 round positions. Two matte black magazines with polymer baseplates also bear restricted-use markings, one of which retains a white barcode sticker printed with 980499999989. The final three magazines are glossy blued 17-round capacity units with polymer baseplates and vertical round indicator holes numbered 4 through 17, with one magazine bearing the vertical marking MADE IN ITALY. The followers are a mix of silver-colored metal and dark polymer. Note – As these are firearm magazines and not firearms, a federal 4473 background check is not required.
Condition report:
The magazines exhibit light to moderate wear throughout consistent with standard use. The finishes show varying degrees of surface scuffing, thinning at contact points, and some adhesive residue from previous labeling. Minor spots of surface oxidation are present, particularly on the blued magazines and baseplates. The followers and springs appear to be in good working condition with appropriate tension.
