Description
This Stag Arms Model Stag-6.8 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 6.8mm Remington SPC (Special Purpose Cartridge). The rifle is configured with a 20-inch barrel featuring a 1/11 twist rate, capped with an A2-style birdcage flash hider and a Picatinny railed gas block. The flat-top upper receiver is mounted with a Simmons Aetec 2.8-10x44mm scope with a standard duplex reticle on high rings. The firearm features a matte black finish and is equipped with a Hogue textured rubber-sleeved free-float handguard, a Hogue rubberized finger-groove pistol grip, and a skeletonized fixed stock with a foam cheek pad. Transcription of marks on the left side of the lower receiver reads STAG ARMS NEW BRITAIN, CT USA with serial number 287191, while the right side is marked MODEL STAG-6.8 CAL 6.8 MM. The barrel is stamped STAG ARMS 6.8 SPC 1/11. One short metal magazine is included. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in moderate used condition, exhibiting a matte black finish with light surface scratches and handling marks throughout. Surface oxidation is present on the exterior of the dust cover, the hex screws of the gas block, and the mounting hardware for the optic. The Hogue rubberized handguard and grip are in good condition with minor handling wear. The foam cheek pad on the stock remains intact with some light compression. The action functions smoothly when manually cycled, though the firearm has not been test-fired. The optic glass is clear, and the reticle is well-defined. The bore was not inspected.
