Description
This Springfield Armory XD(M) 4.5 is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, featuring a 4.5-inch match-grade barrel. The firearm is constructed with a matte gray and black finished slide mounted on a black polymer frame. The frame is equipped with a textured grip, a grip safety, and an integrated accessory rail forward of the trigger guard. The slide features a fiber optic front sight and a white-dot rear sight. One detachable stainless steel double-stack magazine is included. Verbatim markings include XD(M)-40 and 4.5 on the left side of the slide, and SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A. on the right. The barrel hood is stamped MATCH MG297981 40 SW. The grip frame is marked MADE IN CROATIA and SPRINGFIELD INC. GENESEO, IL. The serial number MG297981 is visible on the slide, barrel, and a metal plate on the underside of the frame. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good used condition. The slide finish shows some surface scuffs and light wear concentrated at the muzzle and along the edges. The polymer frame remains in good condition with minor handling marks and light surface dirt in the texturing. The bore appears bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included stainless steel magazine shows light insertion wear.
