Description
This is an RG Industries Model RG 14 double-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The firearm is equipped with an approximately 3 inch barrel featuring a solid top rib and fixed front and rear sights. The construction includes a blued finish on the frame, barrel, and the 6-shot swing-out cylinder. The revolver is fitted with brown mottled plastic grips that incorporate a circular RG medallion on each side and are secured by a single grip screw. Visible markings on the left side of the frame include MOD. RG 14, CAL. .22 LR, RG IND., and MIAMI FLA. The right side of the frame has been hand-inscribed with the initials RM over the date 6-75. The serial number 455879 is clearly stamped on the base of the grip frame. The firearm operates with a traditional double-action trigger and an exposed hammer. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in fair to good physical condition. The blued finish shows scattered scratches, general handling wear, and thinning on the sharp edges of the frame and cylinder. There is visible surface oxidation on the frame around the hammer area. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double action, with the cylinder swinging out and locking up as intended. The plastic grips are in good condition with no chips or cracks, though they show minor surface scuffing consistent with age.
