Description
This Taurus Model 605 is a compact five-shot double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The firearm is equipped with a 2-inch barrel featuring a fixed front ramp sight and an integral rear sight channel. It is constructed from stainless steel with a matte finish and features textured black rubber grips with finger grooves and the Taurus bull’s head logo. Significant markings on the right side of the frame include the Taurus logo, Taurus Int’l Mfg Miami, FL-USA, Made in Brazil, and the model number 605. The serial number IT49876 is stamped on the frame above the trigger guard, and the barrel is marked 357 Mag. The action appears to function correctly, though the exterior shows notable signs of environmental wear. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish is in fair condition, displaying widespread surface oxidation and spots of rust pitting, most notably around the hammer, the cylinder flutes, and the trigger guard. A visible drag line is present on the cylinder. The bore is bright with strong rifling and some minor fouling. The action appears to function properly in both single and double-action modes. The rubber grips show wear from handling and use, including some loss of texture and surface marks.
