Description
This is a Howa Model 1500 Carbon Elevate bolt action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, configured as a lightweight precision hunting rifle. The firearm features a stainless steel barreled action with a satin finish and a muzzle that is threaded and currently fitted with a black knurled thread protector. The barreled action is bedded into a lightweight carbon fiber stock with a visible woven pattern and is equipped with a black rubber LimbSaver recoil pad. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for optics mounts, though no sights or mounting bases are present on this example. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the left side of the receiver transcribed as Howa Model 1500 and MADE IN JAPAN. IMPORTED BY LEGACY SPORTS. RENO. NV. The barrel is marked 6.5CREEDMOOR and READ MANUAL BEFORE USE, and the serial number B 7 4 5 7 8 3 is stamped on the receiver ring. The hinged floorplate is also marked with the Howa logo. The bolt shroud and thread protector feature a contrasting matte black finish. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in excellent overall condition, appearing to have seen very little use. The satin stainless steel finish on the barrel and receiver is extremely clean, showing no significant scratches, dings, or signs of oxidation. The matte black finish on the bolt shroud and thread protector remains fully intact. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The bolt action cycles smoothly and the trigger functions as designed, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The carbon fiber stock is in excellent condition with no visible cracks, chips, or delamination in the weave. The LimbSaver recoil pad is soft and well-preserved.
