Description
This is a stainless steel rifle barrel designed for the AR-15 platform and chambered in 5.56 NATO. The barrel features a compact profile suitable for pistol or Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) configurations, constructed from 416R stainless steel with a natural bead-blasted finish. It utilizes a 1:8 twist rate and 5R rifling, which is designed to reduce projectile deformation and provide more consistent accuracy while facilitating easier bore cleaning. The component includes a pre-installed barrel extension with M4-style feed ramps to ensure reliable feeding. The exterior features a machined gas block journal with a single dimple on the underside for precise alignment and secure installation of a set-screw gas block. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 TPI for the attachment of standard muzzle devices. Verbatim markings on the barrel specify the specifications as 5.56 NATO 1-8 5R. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling.
