Description
This Sig Sauer SIG522 is a semi-automatic sporting rifle chambered in .22 LR and configured with a 20-inch heavy barrel. The rifle features a matte black finish on the metal components and is fitted with durable black polymer furniture, including a side-folding stock, a textured pistol grip, and a ribbed handguard. The top of the receiver is equipped with an integral Picatinny rail currently mounting a Barska variable-power scope with a duplex reticle. Key markings include the model designation SIG522, SIG SAUER INC., EXETER, NH, USA and the serial number XA 035298 on the left side of the upper receiver. The top of the barrel is marked 22LR. The lot is accompanied by a collection of 5 magazines, consisting of one 10-round clear polymer magazine and four black polymer high-capacity magazines, along with the original factory cardboard box and owner’s manual. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good to excellent overall condition, retaining approximately 98% of its original matte black finish with only minor handling marks visible. The black polymer stock, grip, and handguard are excellent with no significant scratches or gouges. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though it has not been live-fire tested. The Barska optic shows clear lenses and the adjustments operate smoothly. The magazines appear to be in good working order. The original box shows some shelf wear, tape, and the word Display written in black marker.
