Description
This lot features an Advanced TASER M26 electronic control device manufactured by Taser International. The unit is constructed with a black textured polymer body, designed with a grip angle and form factor intended to mimic a standard handgun for training familiarity. The sides of the frame feature high-visibility yellow striped decals. The upper front section of the frame is embossed with the characters ADVANCED TASER, while the grip displays a circular lightning bolt logo above the embossed name TASER. The device includes a two-position manual safety switch located at the rear of the frame. Accompanying the unit is an assortment of air cartridges, each designed for a 15-foot range. These cartridges feature black plastic housings with embossed lightning bolt logos and center blast plates containing an F within a pentagon. Adhesive labels on the cartridges indicate they were manufactured in the USA with printed expiration dates ranging from 2009 to 2011. Visible serial numbers on these labels include F05-751715, F06-730775, F04-491440, F05-751729, and F04-491407. Also included is a pair of 8-cell AA battery carriers, which are molded with battery size specifications and polarity symbols. The set is contained within a black hard-sided fitted plastic carrying case featuring a silver-tone adhesive label marked TASER INTERNATIONAL. A clear acrylic display stand is included for presentation.
Condition report:
The electronic control device is in good used condition, showing surface scuffs, scratches, and wear consistent with duty use. Internal battery contacts exhibit some minor oxidation typical of age. The included air cartridges are physically intact but are all past their printed expiration dates; they are sold as historical collectibles only and their functionality is not guaranteed. The hard plastic case is structurally sound with functional latches, though it shows external abrasions and light surface soiling.
