Description
A pair of vintage metal smokeless powder canisters produced for the IMR Powder Company. The set includes one red-labeled canister of IMR 3031 and one blue-labeled canister of IMR 7828. Both containers feature the IMR logo and are noted as being “Formerly Supplied by DuPont.” The front labels display the product identifiers and safety warnings, while the reverse sides feature a “Handloader’s Guide” graphic and handling instructions. The reverse of each canister is marked “MANUFACTURED IN CANADA FOR IMR POWDER COMPANY PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. 12901.” Each unit is topped with a red screw-cap and retains an intact clear plastic seal.

Condition report:
Good vintage condition showing light shelf wear and minor scratching. Surface oxidation is visible on the metal seams and base edges. The IMR 7828 canister retains a yellow adhesive price sticker on the front label. The clear plastic seals on the caps appear to be original and intact.
