Description
This lot comprises a total of 60 rounds of HSM (The Hunting Shack) .223 Winchester Super Short Magnum (WSSM) centerfire rifle ammunition. The cartridges are contained within three original factory boxes, each marked to contain 20 rounds. Every cartridge is loaded with a 55-grain Hornady V-MAX bullet, identifiable by its copper-alloy jacket and distinctive red polymer tip designed for rapid expansion and fragmentation. The rounds are seated in bottlenecked brass cases. Prominent markings on the packaging include the manufacturer name HSM Ammunition, Centerfire Cartridges, Made in U.S.A., and Established in 1968. Visual inspection of the cartridge headstamps reveals the markings F – C on the upper edge and 223 WSSM on the lower edge, indicating the use of Federal Cartridge manufactured components.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit minor shelf wear with light scuffing and softening at the corners and edges. The brass cartridge cases are in good condition but show some minor surface tarnish and small spots of oxidation. The primers appear correctly seated, and the polymer-tipped projectiles show no signs of deformation or damage. The ammunition appears to be live.
