Description
This Gun Guard brand hard-sided long gun case is designed to accommodate a single rifle or shotgun and is constructed from a tan molded polymer. The exterior features a textured alligator-style finish with a large raised diamond pattern on both faces and a gray marbleized plastic center carry handle. Prominent markings include a raised rectangular plaque embossed with GUN GUARD. The interior is lined with green convoluted egg-crate foam to secure the contents during transport. The case is equipped with four metal latches and measures approximately 48 inches in length. The word MINE is handwritten in black marker near the bottom edge of one side.

Condition report:
The exterior of the case exhibits scuffs, scratches, and general wear consistent with field use. All metal hardware, including the four latches and the hinge pins, shows significant surface rust and oxidation. The green interior foam remains intact with some light compression and minor staining. The functionality of the rusted latches and hinges has not been tested.
