Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Remington .22-250 Remington centerfire rifle ammunition. The collection is comprised of five individual twenty-round retail boxes. Two boxes are older style Remington High Velocity packaging in solid green, while three are Remington Express Rifle boxes in the standard green and yellow layout. All 100 cartridges are loaded with 55-grain Pointed Soft Point bullets intended for varmint and target use. Verification of markings on the packaging includes Remington High Velocity, 20 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES, and Remington EXPRESS RIFLE. Caliber and bullet specifications are printed verbatim as 22-250 Remington 55 GR. PTD. SOFT. PT. with the product code R22501. The individual cartridge headstamps are clearly marked with R – P and 22-250 REM.
Condition report:
The retail boxes exhibit typical signs of shelf wear including corner fraying, surface scuffing, and minor edge tearing. One green High Velocity box has a partial sticker remnant on the face. The brass cases of the cartridges show surface oxidation and a natural patina from long-term storage, while the primers appear original and well-seated. The ammunition appears to be factory-loaded and remains in a stable, collectible, or usable state.
