Description
This Western Field Model 32 is a bolt-action rifle chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges, currently intended for use as a parts gun. The firearm consists of a blued barrel and receiver set in a wood stock with pressed checkering on the forend and pistol grip. Verbatim barrel markings specify Western Field Model 32-22 S, L & LR. The rifle is presented in a disassembled state with the bolt detached and stored in a plastic bag taped to the forend with silver duct tape and blue painter’s tape. The buttplate is missing, and a piece of blue tape with the handwritten number 50 is affixed to the right side of the buttstock. The wood stock shows significant wear with widespread finish loss and patches of orange-toned staining or paint. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The physical condition is fair, reflecting its status as a parts gun. The blued finish on the metal components shows significant thinning and wear throughout. The wood stock has heavy finish loss, numerous dings, and localized areas of orange paint or staining. The buttplate is missing, leaving the mounting holes exposed. The action is disassembled and has not been tested for mechanical functionality.
