Description
A group of five vintage soft-sided long gun cases constructed from various synthetic and vinyl materials. The collection includes a red vinyl case with tan trim and dual carrying handles; a two-tone brown and tan synthetic case with a single carrying handle; and two yellow-tan synthetic cases with black trim. One of the yellow-tan cases features a black muzzle cap with embossed floral scrollwork and a stitched-on black identification tag window. One case in the assortment bears a stamped oval manufacturer mark on the muzzle end reading GUN-TECTOR, KOLPIN BROS. CO., BERLIN, WIS. The cases are equipped with metal zippers and are sized for standard rifles or shotguns.
Condition report:
The cases show signs of moderate field use and age-related wear. Visible condition issues include surface scuffs, staining, and accumulated dirt on the exterior materials. The synthetic surfaces show some creasing and minor degradation. Zippers appear functional but exhibit varying degrees of surface oxidation and wear.
