Description
Ohaus Model 10-10 precision reloading powder scale. This mechanical beam balance is designed for measuring smokeless powder grains and is constructed with a cast metal base. The graduated beam is marked in grains (GN) with major increments up to 500, supplemented by a micrometer-style poise for fine adjustments in tenths of a grain. The unit features a removable clear plastic dust cover with the Ohaus logo and text indicating model 10-10, Precision Reloading Scale, and Florham Park, N.J., U.S.A. Components include a metal powder pan, a wire hanger, and an ounce-to-grain conversion chart on the back panel. The scale is accompanied by a dark green plastic utility case bearing a manufacturer label and handwritten text reading 22 LR on the lid.
Condition report:
The scale and case show signs of expected use, including surface scuffs, finish wear on the base, and adhesive tape residue. The clear plastic cover exhibits age-related yellowing and surface scratches. The components appear intact; however, the mechanical accuracy and calibration have not been tested.
