Description
This lot consists of 86 items of .257 Weatherby Magnum ammunition, including 78 live rounds and 8 brass casings. The cartridges are organized within two Midway-brand plastic storage boxes, one red and one blue. Verbatim transcription of the headstamps on the brass cases shows the manufacturer Weatherby on the top arc and the caliber designation 257 Wby Mag on the bottom arc. The collection features mixed primer types, including both brass-toned and silver-toned primers with red sealant, which, along with handwritten notations on the plastic lids such as 257 W Mag, indicates the items may be handloaded ammunition or a mixture of various factory and reloaded rounds.
