Description
This is a Stevens Model 820 pump-action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge, configured as a traditional sporting and utility firearm. It features a 28 inch barrel proof-tested for 2 3/4 inch shells and is equipped with a single silver-tone bead front sight. Key markings include the model designation and manufacturer information on the left side of the barrel, which reads STEVENS SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. U.S.A. MODEL 820. Additional barrel markings specify PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE — 2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER —. The firearm is fitted with marbled brown Tenite synthetic furniture, consisting of a ribbed forend and a checkered pistol-grip stock. The receiver and barrel possess a blued finish, and the stock is completed with a checkered black buttplate. The action appears to function as intended, though the shotgun has not been function-tested with live ammunition. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The barrel and receiver retain a significant portion of their original blued finish with thinning and silvering visible on the magazine tube from operation and along the high edges of the receiver. There are scattered areas of light surface oxidation, notably near the muzzle and on the receiver flats. The marbled brown Tenite furniture shows light handling marks, scuffs, and small scratches throughout, but remains structurally sound without visible cracks. The checkered black buttplate exhibits minor wear and some debris in the texturing. The action operates smoothly.
