Description
This semi-automatic pistol is an Astra Model Constable II chambered in .22 LR, designed for target practice or small-frame carry. It operates on a blowback-action system and features a fixed barrel approximately 3.5 inches in length. The exterior surfaces are finished in a deep, high-polish bluing. Key markings on the left side of the slide include the Astra logo followed by GUERNICA-SPAIN and MOD. CONSTABLE II, while the right side identifies the importer as INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA. The barrel is marked 22 L.R. through the ejection port, and the serial number N 4399 is stamped on the right side of the frame above the trigger guard. The firearm is fitted with black checkered plastic grips and is equipped with a slide-mounted manual safety/decocker, a serrated external hammer, and fixed sights. Please note that this firearm is missing its magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good used condition, retaining a high percentage of its original high-polish blued finish with some minor thinning and holster wear on the high edges of the slide and at the muzzle. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, and the decocking safety is operational. The black plastic grips are well-preserved with sharp checkering and no visible cracks or chips. No magazine is included with this lot.
