Description
This Remington Model 11 is a semi-automatic shotgun chambered for 12 gauge, 2 3/4-inch or shorter shells. It features a 27-inch barrel with a full choke and a single bead front sight. The firearm is finished with a blued receiver and barrel, complemented by a checkered walnut pistol grip stock and matching forend. The butt is fitted with a black synthetic Sile brand buttplate featuring an eagle motif and marked Made in Italy. Key markings include the manufacturer name Remington TRADE MARK over MODEL 11 and the serial number 372105 on the left side of the receiver. The bolt is also engraved with MODEL 11. The barrel is marked with 12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS., the manufacturer location REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A., several Browning patent dates, and a FULL choke designation. An oval REP proof mark is present on the barrel near the breech. A screw is missing from the lower tang on the underside of the wrist, with associated minor wood loss in that area. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows light surface scratches and wear consistent with regular use, particularly on the edges of the receiver and barrel. The bore is bright. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The checkered walnut stock and forend exhibit minor dings and handling marks; there is a missing screw on the lower tang with a small area of associated wood loss. The synthetic buttplate is in good condition with minor wear at the edges.
