Description
This is a Chinese Norinco Type 56 SKS semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, configured for sporting and tactical use. The rifle features a 20 inch barrel with a hooded post front sight and a tangent rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters. The metal components maintain a blued finish, while the bolt carrier remains in the white. It has been modernized with an aftermarket Tapco polymer stock system that includes a pistol grip and a multi-position collapsible buttstock. A custom yellow and black tiger-stripe camouflage finish has been applied to the stock, the included barrel-mounted bipod, the red dot optic, and two 20-round detachable magazines. Key markings include a triangle 26 arsenal stamp, the characters 五六式, and the serial number 1413268 P on the left side of the receiver. Additional receiver markings read SKS 7.62X39 MADE IN CHINA BY NORINCO KSI POMONA CA. The bolt carrier is stamped with the partial serial number 03268. The lot includes a black plastic hard case with a molded hunting scene and an original SKS instruction manual. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good used condition. The blued finish on the receiver and barrel shows light handling wear and minor surface marks. The custom tiger-stripe camouflage paint exhibits some scuffs and minor chipping at edges and high-wear areas on the stock, magazines, and bipod. The polymer stock components are structurally sound with no cracks observed. The action appears to function correctly, though it has not been function-tested. The red dot optic powers on but has not been tested for zero.
