Description
This lot features a Stoeger Cougar 8000 F semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum, a licensed production of the Beretta 8000 series utilizing a unique rotating barrel locking system. The firearm is equipped with a 3.6-inch barrel and is finished in black bluing over an aluminum alloy frame. The furniture consists of black checkered polymer grip panels featuring a circular target-style emblem. Sighting is provided by a fixed three-dot combat sight arrangement. The slide is equipped with an ambidextrous safety and decocker lever. Prominent markings on the left side of the slide and frame include the serial number T6429-08-A032667 and the text MADE IN TURKEY IMPORTED BY STOEGER INDUSTRIES, INC. ACKK. MD USA. The right side of the slide is marked STOEGER COUGAR 8000 F followed by the warning WARNING: RETRACT SLIDE TO SEE IF LOADED. FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE. The frame is marked READ MANUAL BEFORE USE on the right side. The barrel hood, visible through the ejection port, is stamped with the caliber 9 Para and a matching serial number. This lot includes two detachable box magazines marked CAL 9 PARA – MADE IN ITALY and one black nylon Blackhawk! brand holster in size 6. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in used condition, showing visible finish wear along the sharp edges of the slide and frame, as well as thinning of the bluing on the controls and grip safety area. There are light surface scratches and handling marks present on the slide. The polymer grips remain in good condition with crisp checkering and no significant chips or cracks. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling and no apparent signs of pitting. The action appears to function correctly, and the decocker/safety mechanism is positive. The magazines show moderate finish wear but remain structurally sound. The Blackhawk holster is in good, serviceable condition.
