Description
This Sig Sauer P238 is a compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in .380 Auto, designed for concealed carry and personal defense. It features a 2.7 inch barrel and is configured with a Nitron-finished stainless steel slide over a black hard-coat anodized alloy frame. The firearm is equipped with textured G-10 grips featuring a multi-colored layered pattern and the Sig Sauer logo, providing a secure and durable surface. Key markings include the model designation SIG SAUER P238 on the left side of the slide and 380 AUTO stamped on the barrel hood. The right side of the frame is marked SIG SAUER INC. NEWINGTON-NH-USA along with the serial number 27C033009. The pistol is fitted with SIGLITE three-dot night sights, with the rear sight marked SIG H3 AR and the front sight marked MH3 AQ. This lot includes the original black plastic Sig Sauer carrying case with a matching label, an owner’s manual for P238 and P938 models, a cable safety lock, a red warning tag, a clear display stand, and 3 mags as specified. The manufacture date on the case label is 07-OCT-2018. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in very good overall condition, showing signs of light use consistent with careful handling. The Nitron finish on the slide remains largely intact with minor surface wear. The black finish on the frame is well-preserved, though some light debris is visible within the slide serrations and the textured sections of the grips. The G-10 grips are in excellent condition with no significant chips or cracks. The SIGLITE night sights are clear and undamaged. The single-action-only trigger and slide action appear to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The accompanying case and accessories show minimal wear.
