Description
This Churchill Windsor I is a side-by-side break-action shotgun chambered for 12-gauge shells with 3-inch magnum chambers. It features 27.5-inch barrels with a polished blued finish, joined by a matted top rib and fitted with a single front bead sight. The receiver is finished in a silver tone and displays scrollwork engraving across its side plates and underside. Key markings include the model and gauge designation on the right barrel, WINDSOR I – 12 GA – 3″ MAG, and the manufacturer and importer on the left barrel, Churchill BY KASSNAR. The shotgun is equipped with dual triggers and a tang-mounted sliding safety. The furniture consists of a checkered wood stock and matching forend with a high-gloss finish. The butt is fitted with a brown textured recoil pad bearing the Churchill logo. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The barrels retain a high percentage of their original polished blue finish with minor surface scratches and faint handling wear. The silver-toned receiver shows well-defined engraving with minimal signs of aging or oxidation. The checkered wood stock and forend are in attractive condition, retaining a bright gloss finish despite some light surface dings and minor scratches consistent with field use. The checkering remains crisp and well-defined. The bores were not inspected but the exterior condition suggests they have been well-maintained. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
