Description
This is a semi-automatic sporting rifle built on an Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 lower receiver, chambered for 5.56 NATO. The firearm features a 16 inch barrel with a 1:8 twist rate, equipped with a birdcage-style muzzle device and a free-float slotted handguard. Both the upper and lower receivers feature a matte black finish. The furniture includes a Hogue adjustable polymer buttstock and a matching textured rubberized pistol grip. Sighting is provided by a mounted Trinity Force 3-9x42C magnified optic alongside a pair of flip-up front and rear iron sights mounted on the integrated top Picatinny rail. The stock is fitted with a textured Hogue brand recoil pad. The lower receiver is stamped with the manufacturer logo of a rearing horse and the following text: ANDERSON, MANUFACTURING, HEBRON, KY, AM-15, MULTI CAL, and the serial number 16228863. The barrel is marked 5.56 NATO 1:8, specifying the chambering and rifling twist. Included with the rifle is one polymer magazine decorated with a distressed monochromatic American flag motif. Condition report:
The firearm is in good used condition. The matte black finish is largely intact, with minor surface scratches, handling marks, and localized areas of dust accumulation visible. The Hogue adjustable stock and rubberized grip show light wear, with some scuffing present on the buttpad. The action appears to function correctly when manually cycled, though the firearm has not been live-fire tested. The optic lenses are clear, and the internal reticle is sharp.
