Description
This is a single High Standard Model K-120 Riot 18-7 RS pump-action shotgun chambered for 12-gauge 2-3/4 inch shells. Designed for law enforcement and defensive utility, it features an 18 inch blued steel barrel and a tubular magazine. The receiver is finished in blued steel and houses a right-side ejection port. The furniture consists of a smooth wood buttstock and a ribbed wood forend. The firearm is equipped with rifle-style sights, comprising a ramped front blade and an adjustable rear notch. It is fitted with a black plastic buttplate featuring a V design and a black padded nylon and leather sling attached via metal swivels. Key markings include RIOT 18-7 RS, a bird logo, MODEL K-120, and HIGH STANDARD HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A. on the left side of the barrel. The right side of the barrel is marked PROOF TESTED-12 GA. and 2 3/4 CHAMBER. The serial number 3114795 is stamped on the lower left side of the receiver. The slide bar is hand-engraved with the inventory mark J W C S O # 002. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the receiver and barrel shows significant thinning and wear consistent with service use, particularly on the receiver edges, along with various scratches and minor surface oxidation. The bore is bright and in good condition. The action appears to function correctly, cycling shells smoothly. The wooden buttstock and forend exhibit various dings, scratches, and minor finish wear from handling but remain structurally sound. The sights are intact and the sling hardware is in serviceable condition.
