Description
A Glock Model 40 Gen 4 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 10mm Auto, configured as a long-slide firearm suitable for competition or hunting. The pistol features a 6.02-inch barrel housed within a slide that has been refinished with an aftermarket matte green coating. The frame is constructed of black polymer with standard Gen 4 integral texturing, finger grooves, and an integrated accessory rail. Sighting is managed via a slide-mounted Holosun HS407A3 X2 red dot optic (serial number 00031152) and a set of black suppressor-height iron sights. An aftermarket backplate marked 10MM is installed at the rear of the slide. Key markings include the Glock logo followed by 40 Gen 4, AUSTRIA, and 10mm Auto on the left slide flat, while the right side of the frame is marked MADE IN AUSTRIA / GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA. The matching serial number BBGM918 is clearly visible on the slide, barrel, and frame. The lot includes one black polymer Glock magazine and a Kydex holster finished in a hexagonal scale-style camouflage pattern. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in overall moderate used condition. The aftermarket green finish on the slide shows significant wear and chipping at the muzzle end, with scattered light scratches and holster wear along the flats. The polymer frame is well-preserved with minor handling marks and some light debris in the textured areas. The action appears to function correctly, though it has not been function-tested. The bore was not inspected. The Holosun optic shows light external use and the glass appears clear. The included holster and magazine show standard signs of field use.
