Description
This Hi-Point Model 995 is a semi-automatic carbine chambered in 9mm Luger, designed as a durable and functional pistol-caliber long gun. The firearm features a 16.5 inch barrel equipped with a muzzle brake and a skeletonized black polymer stock with a textured pistol grip and a spring-loaded buttplate for recoil mitigation. The metal receiver has a black finish and is fitted with a Picatinny-style top rail currently mounting a Simmons red dot sight. An attached brown leather sling is present, showing significant signs of age and wear. The lot includes two single-stack metal magazines. Key markings on the left side of the receiver include the model designation MODEL 995 and HI-POINT FIREARMS followed by a triangle logo and by BEEMILLER INC. Mansfield OH with the caliber specified as CAL. 9mm X 19. The serial number B41214 is stamped on a tag located on the underside of the frame ahead of the trigger guard. The magazines are marked 3 2014 near the base plate. The ejection port reveals a heavy accumulation of yellowed grease or residue on the internal bolt surface. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The carbine is in moderate used condition. The black finish on the metal receiver shows light surface scratches and handling marks throughout. The skeletonized polymer stock exhibits various scuffs and minor dings consistent with field use. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm; there is a notable presence of dried yellow residue or grease within the receiver. The Simmons red dot sight is intact, but its functionality has not been verified. The two magazines show standard finish wear and appear functional. The attached leather sling is heavily worn with surface cracking and discoloration. The bore was not inspected but the external barrel finish remains largely intact.
