Description
This is a Mossberg Model 590 Nightstick pump-action firearm chambered for 12-gauge shells. The item features a 14-inch barrel with a cylinder bore and is capable of accepting both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. The metal surfaces exhibit a durable matte black finish on the receiver and barrel. The furniture consists of walnut-stained wood, including a birdshead-style pistol grip and a ribbed corncob-style forend equipped with a brown leather safety strap, which remains in its factory protective plastic. The firearm is equipped with a brass bead front sight and a top-mounted safety. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the underside of the receiver, MOSSBERG NORTH HAVEN, CT U.S.A. 590 12 GA., and the serial number V1439056 is stamped on the left side of the receiver. The barrel is roll-stamped with CHAMBERED FOR 2 3/4 AND 3IN. SHELLS 12 GA. CYLINDER BORE along with the manufacturer warning and Eagle Pass, TX address. The lot includes the original factory cardboard box with a matching serial number label, a gun lock, and factory documentation. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent, like-new condition. The matte black finish is very well-preserved with no significant scratches, thinning, or signs of wear. The walnut-stained wood furniture is in excellent condition with no dings or handling marks visible. The bore is bright and clean with no signs of use. The action appears to function smoothly and correctly, although we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The original factory box shows only minor storage wear at the edges.
