Description
This lot consists of a total of 150 rounds of .357 Magnum centerfire ammunition housed in three factory 50-round boxes. The collection includes one vintage green and yellow box of Remington High Velocity ammunition containing 158-grain soft point (SP) projectiles seated in nickel-plated cases. The headstamps on these cartridges are transcribed as R-P 357 MAGNUM, and the box carries the index number R357M3. Also included are two white Winchester USA boxes containing 110-grain jacketed hollow point (JHP) ammunition with nickel-plated cases. The headstamps for the Winchester rounds are marked WINCHESTER 357 MAG, and the boxes are identified by the product code Q4204. Each box contains its original plastic or cardboard tray. The packaging shows moderate shelf wear, and both Winchester boxes bear handwritten notations of 9/94 and a price of $11.50. Visual inspection confirms the primers are finished with a red sealant and all cartridges appear to be in factory-original, live condition.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in well-preserved, live condition. The nickel-plated cases remain bright with no significant signs of corrosion or oxidation. The lead soft point and jacketed hollow point projectiles are clean and free of lead bloom or tarnish. The red primer sealant is intact on all examined rounds. The cardboard packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear consistent with its age, including scuffed edges, minor creasing, and surface soiling. The two Winchester boxes have handwritten ink notations on the front and top flaps.
