Description
A group of eight vintage Poly-Choke Raised Handgun Rib kits, appearing as new old stock in their original retail packaging. The collection includes kits presented in both black cardboard window boxes and clear plastic cases with yellow foam inserts. Each package is marked MFG. BY THE POLY-CHOKE CO., INC., HARTFORD, CT 06101 and cites U.S. patent numbers 3556889 and 195340. The blackened ribs are designed for user installation on various handgun models. Identification labels on the sides of the packaging specify applications for the Ruger Security Six 4 inch (Item 96109) and the Ruger Auto, Bull MKI, II 5 1/2 inch (Item 96113). The kits include the raised rib component and are marketed as requiring no machining or fitting for installation.
Condition report:
The kits are in new old stock condition, showing varying degrees of shelf wear consistent with age. Visible issues include minor crushing and edge wear to the cardboard boxes, adhesive tape residue, and significant yellowing and compression of the internal foam inserts. One side label for a Ruger Auto kit is partially detached and torn. The metal components appear to be in good condition within the packaging.
