Description
This Ruger American Rimfire is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, configured for target or precision rimfire shooting. The firearm features a 22-inch blued alloy steel barrel and a matching blued receiver. It is mounted in a durable black synthetic polymer stock that includes textured grip panels on the pistol grip and forend, along with a modular stock system featuring an interchangeable high-comb module designed for use with optics or high-profile sights. This specific example is equipped with a Williams adjustable rear peep sight mounted to the receiver and a hooded globe-style front sight. The rifle utilizes the Ruger rotary magazine system and includes one ten-round black polymer magazine. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation RUGER AMERICAN on the left side of the receiver, adjacent to the Ruger phoenix logo and the serial number 832-91708. The barrel is stamped 22 L R near the breech and includes the manufacturer address RUGER, MAYODAN, NC – USA on the top. The rifle is finished with a black rubber recoil pad bearing the Ruger logo and features integrated sling swivel studs. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition, showing minimal signs of handling or use. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver remains deep and consistent, estimated at approximately 98% coverage with only very faint thinning at the muzzle. The synthetic stock is excellent, free from significant scratches, gouges, or scuffs. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The bolt action appears to function correctly and cycles smoothly, and the trigger pull is crisp; however, we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The Williams sights are intact and the adjustment knobs move freely.
