Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Winchester Target handgun ammunition chambered in .40 Smith & Wesson. The cartridges feature 165 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectiles seated in factory-new brass casings. The ammunition is packaged in two original manufacturer cardboard boxes, each containing a white styrofoam tray to protect the cartridges. Key markings on the white-and-red boxes include the Winchester brand name, the horse-and-rider logo, “TARGET”, and caliber specifications noting “40 S&W 165 GRAIN FULL METAL JACKET” and “MADE IN USA.” The cartridge headstamps are clearly marked with “WIN” and “40 S&W.” This ammunition is intended for target and practice applications, utilizing rounded-nose bullets designed for reliable feeding and consistent performance.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in overall very good condition and appears to be live and functional. The brass casings are bright and clean with no signs of corrosion or significant oxidation. The primers are properly seated and intact. The cardboard boxes show minor shelf wear, including light scuffing and small dings at the corners, consistent with storage and handling. One box shows slight compression on an end flap, but remains structurally sound. The internal styrofoam trays are intact and properly hold the cartridges.
